In 1930 Albert Einstein wrote, “I maintain that the cosmic religious feeling is the strongest and noblest motive for scientific research.” In this volume of Gravity Driven Universe, Roy Masters is similarly driven to explore the full range of questions that are off limits to many, but were completely available to Einstein in his time. Imagine a world where Albert Einstein held no such sentiment—would modern science as we know it today exist? Probably not. Masters fully embraces Einstein’s sentiments in ways that are not only refreshing, but bring out possibilities which might exist because all questions are once again available to us—this is the very essence of science—the “Why, When and How” of things; and let the truth of their explorations lead us to wherever the actual truth may be found.
As this book is meant for mass production, and as a courtesy to the different spectrum of readers who may find it of interest, this book has been written in two completely different ways—Book 1 is for those who wish only to partake in the hard science, while Book 2 is for the lay person or philosopher. In either case, the author’s conclusions are the same: that gravity is a “push” force not a “pull” force—that the laws of physics still function exactly the same with gravity as a push force, but for different reasons. It is these “different reasons” that allow gravity to function as a “push force” that very well may open up a whole new spectrum of scientific inquiry, elegantly supplementing, not altering the understanding of existing scientific norms. —Mark Masters, June 2011 |
